All About Palmistry

Palmistry is an ancient art, which involves the reading of the details, such as lines and mounts, to provide an idea of the individual's personality and life path. This tradition analyses the shape of the hands, length of fingers, length of palm, thumbs, fingernails, mounts, lines, marks, palm chronology and ring meanings, to gather understanding of the past, present, future and potential.

‘The lines only impel, they do not compel'

Although Palmistry is wonderful tool for guidance, it is not hard and fast - destiny is to be shaped with free will. Palmistry can help to bring clarity, focus, and awareness of tendencies, to sculpt the path to ones desires.

There is much to be read from the fingers in palmistry. Consideration is paid to the length and shape of fingers, and also the shape of the finger tips, amongst other aspects.

The Fingers

Strong/Stocky – Quick in behaviour and thought, less attentive to finer details.

Long – Slower in thought and behaviour, with a more careful approach

Smooth – Guided by thought and intuition, quick in thought and action

The Fingertips

Square – Practical, realistic and down to earth nature, valuing method, routine, order and organisation .

Rounded – Most common type – the ‘average' persons fingertips

Pointed – Rarer type, reflect artistic, poetic or musical nature and ability.

Mix of all three – Mix of the above characteristics
