All About Palmistry

Palmistry is an ancient art, which involves the reading of the details, such as lines and mounts, to provide an idea of the individual's personality and life path. This tradition analyses the shape of the hands, length of fingers, length of palm, thumbs, fingernails, mounts, lines, marks, palm chronology and ring meanings, to gather understanding of the past, present, future and potential.

‘The lines only impel, they do not compel'

Although Palmistry is wonderful tool for guidance, it is not hard and fast - destiny is to be shaped with free will. Palmistry can help to bring clarity, focus, and awareness of tendencies, to sculpt the path to ones desires.

The Thumbs

Small thumb – Achieve through the work of others, mainly motivated and ruled by emotions in absence of rational thought, would not be the ultimate saviour in times of need.

Large thumb – Bravery, courage, and collectedness. Hero by nature.

The Phalanges

Each thumb possesses three phalanges: first, second, and third.

First Phalange

The first phalange (the top phalange) elucidates the will and determination of the individual, the second is associated with rationality, logic and reasoning, and the third demonstrates life in love.

If long and sturdy, the individual demonstrates an independent and confident nature, flat and thin represents an ability to regulate temper and coolness, where as pointed reflects impulsiveness and spontaneity.

Second Phalange

If long and profound, the individual is rather analytic and careful in decision, if longer than the first, an easily lead and weak willed nature may be demonstrated. The person is of strong will with realistic and sensible ideology if these phalanges are of equal length.

Third Phalange

If short and meandering, the individual finds love as a passionate excitement. Long and obvious informs that the individual is idealistic in love.
