What is magick? Magick can be described as many things, but it cannot be likened to Magic. Magic is merely the tricking of perception for entertainment purposes. Magick is much higher than that.

To a practitioner of the High Magickal Arts, Magick means to encourage physical-world change in conformity with will, to call upon certain forces to create desired change. From a psychologists perspective, Magick is a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy, the tendency to notice things more which you expect, and would be viewed as almost a personal change, or a change in consciousness conforming with will. From both perspectives, the practise of Magick is an empowering and influential force in the practitioners' life, and regular engaging can illustrate a benefit to spiritual and psychological development and well-being.
